I've seen people expressing their sadness on ZE:A not coming to their countries, and trust me, I feel for you...(i know, okay. I've been into kpop for about umm...eight years, and all these while, the idols i love never come. The only ones who come are the ones I'm totally not interested in and the ones i love always go to elsewhere but my country and how frustrating is that) That was, until ZE:A came along, and yay! (though i missed the first time they came, but anyway...that's in the past) And now...is the third time they'll be coming to Malaysia, awesome right? I heard that the first time they came, there were so little people, because it was near a Hari Raya Haji is it? time...n probly bcuz not many people knew them back then..it was during 2010 if i'm not mistaken. well... i didn't know the details since i wasn't into ZE:A or any boygroups at the time...i was pretty much bored with kpop and only check out new songs that sound interesting n even had thought of stop following kpop due to the gradually losing of interest. But then ZE:A came along and uhh...plan failed. It was a blessing or luck though, that ZE:A still came for the second time in 2012 for a showcase despite the less than stellar attendance during the first time that i heard from those who went. And the second time was a success(though most probably bcuz there were many ahem...contests for free tickets) This time, ZE:A comes again, finally, a concert. Since this is their first major concert in countries other than Korea n Japan(or did i miss anything?), and they only had done their first concert in their own motherland, Korea just recently, i'm just nervous and really want this concert to be a success. And i don't think the power of fans over here, in other words, support(that's not just in the form of words) are sufficient, compared to in Japan or Korea, haa. yes guys go on and prove me wrong. I just feel that whether or not the concert will go on successfully will depend on ticket sales. Which is why i'm doing this.
And also, which is why i'm reaching out to fans from other countries, besides the fact that I hope more of the fans will get to join and watch them in action.
And having said that, why Malaysia? Why not Korea or Japan? What's so special about this concert that I have to promote it? Well, first of all, I'm a Malaysian duh...of course I'm promoting their concert here. Why else?
Secondly, the exchange rate. I'm not some economy geek/expert to be able to explain things thoroughly. But, let's say, that compared to going to countries with high exchange rate and having to scrape your budget, why not go to Malaysia? I don't mean to undermine my country's economic state. For locals, the cost of living is still cruel compared to the salary. But i'm just saying facts as far as exchange rates is concerned. It's cheaper to go here than going to Korea or Japan, obviously. And you still get to see ZE:A concert by spending less than going to the other said countries. Isn't that a great deal? xD...(i still wish i could go to Korea or Japan though...well, maybe one day when i'm rich...)
Don't worry bout communicating because, English is second language over here and widely used....err, okay, not for everyone but yeah kinda, lol. Even if there are still many who can't really speak that well, they will understand n speak a little mostly and you probly will be able to find help if anything.
Fourthly, food. What is better associated with Malaysia than good food, and an eclectic variety of them? Malaysia's extensive variety of food and culture comes from the multiracial main population. I'm not writing a foodblog here, and i don't plan to drool all over my keyboard so...yeah. You should come and taste the food and what better time to do that than the time ZE:A have concert here. C'mon guys, kill many birds with one stone(omg...not literally, i'm not that cruel)
I don't know what else to say for now guys, but you get my point. If it seems unlikely that ZE:A will go to your place, OR, if you just can't wait or don't know how long you have to wait to see them at your place, OR you just want to show support to their concert but the idea of travelling to other country burns hole in your pocket, than, what better choice than to come over to Malaysia, where travelling might be more affordable and you get to make the most of it. :)
